Privacy policy

This page explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. “I” and “me” mean Jamie Lockett, Realtor®, CA DRE #02016644, Coldwell Banker.

What I collect

When you fill in a form, email me or call me, I receive what you choose to share: usually your name, email address, phone number, a property address, and your message. If you send me a home search, it also includes the towns, price range, bedrooms, and timing you have in mind. A form also records the page you sent it from and the date and time. The site’s host may also record standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the site.

How the forms work

When you send a form, your message goes to this website’s server, which runs on Google Cloud through Firebase and is managed for me by Rasmussen Results, the company that built and runs this site. The server emails your message to me from Rasmussen Results’ email account, which Google also runs. The server does not store your message; like any sent email, a copy stays in that account’s sent mail.

To keep out spam, the forms use Cloudflare Turnstile. It loads only when you start filling in a form, and it usually works without you doing anything. For this check, Cloudflare receives your IP address and technical information about your browser and device. Cloudflare uses it to run the check and to improve its bot detection, as its Turnstile Privacy Addendum explains. The server then asks Cloudflare whether the check passed. It never sends Cloudflare your message.

How I use it

I use your information to reply to you and to provide the real estate services you ask for. I keep records that California real estate rules require. I send updates or marketing emails and texts only if you ask for them, and you can stop them at any time.

Who I share it with

I do not sell your information or share it for advertising. I share it only as needed to help you: with my brokerage, Coldwell Banker; with Rasmussen Results, which runs this site and its forms for me; with the companies that run the site, my email and the forms (Google, and Cloudflare for the spam check); or when the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Apart from Google (the site’s host, which also runs its server and the email that delivers the forms), Rasmussen Results (which runs the site and its forms for me), Cloudflare (the spam check on the forms) and OpenFreeMap (the map images described below), no other company receives information about your visit from this site. No company uses this site to collect information about your activity over time and across other websites. Cloudflare runs the same spam check on many websites; its Turnstile Privacy Addendum says it uses what it receives only to detect bots and improve that detection, not to identify, profile or target anyone. Because there is no cross-site tracking, the site does not change its behavior in response to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

The maps on this site load their map images from OpenFreeMap (openfreemap.org) when a map comes into view, or just before. Like any website, OpenFreeMap receives your IP address and browser type when it sends them. It does not use cookies.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information you have sent me by emailing jamie@jamielockett.com or calling (415) 350-8479. Records I must keep by law stay on file for the required period. Form messages stay in my email until I delete them, and the copy in Rasmussen Results’ sent mail is deleted when you ask. Messages that are not emailed (for example, ones the spam check stops, or ones sent when too many arrive in one hour) are not kept anywhere.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
